introducing the optimum condition project
Welcome, it feels really good to be talking to you today! I just recently launched the Limitless blog on creativity, and the traffic for the blog is excellent! Hoping for similar results with the Optimum Condition Project :) Exercise, Health and Sports have been a big part of my life and family’s as well. Three out of four children play sports competitively, and we have proud parents who encourage us to be excellent at whatever we put our minds too. Now I’m not saying that everything is all sunshine and roses; but we learn, we evolve and we work as a unit, that’s how close we are in our family.
This blog series to me represents an extended family! I love creativity, and I love good health, sports, exercise science and nutrition. Luckily enough I’ve been able to change my body and mind through experimentation, a positive mindset and tenacity over the last five years. And boy do I have a lot to share with you! As a kid I was so positive and energetic, but I lost part of that in my teens due to being bullied a lot, low self-esteem and general lack of a can -do attitude. In 2018; I was the closest I’ve been to sucide, and I had the highest body fat percentage I’ve ever had in my life, in addition to general mental fog and a low aptitude to engage in the world. I had a journal with me that I recorded my deepest and definitely darkest thoughts in. I made a promise in 2019 to starve myself in order to look the way I wanted to, and this lead to severe body dysmorphia and poor nutrition throughout that Summer, and most of the pandemic as well. I worked with a good friend Mike over at Top Shape Fitness Studio in 2019, and I got the Information I needed, but my mindset still was not solidified.
What got me back to being mentally and physically healthy was patience, focus, and that mindset shift. In addition to a lot of the tips I will share in the blog that have to do with specific aspects of exercise, nutrition, Neuro Language Processing, and a schedule. I believe in the good in humanity, and I believe that people could exist harmoniously and build community as well. Was raised on that as a kid, and something I’ve taken with me into early adulthood. This blog and social media content on Instagram and TikTok is dedicated to sharing information that can change your life.
Now I may not have all the answers, but I do believe five years of constant trial and error, in addition to self-education, a coaching certificate and my ace fitness personal training certificate could be a foundation for anyone who needs the information. A lot of this blog will be dedicated to mindset design in addition to the other subcategories mentioned. Your mind is like the software for your life, if it’s infected with viruses (un-productive thought patterns) then you will be held back in life in general, but especially in the gym. Look forward to having you sign up at the bottom of the page to get weekly updates about the blog, as well as I hope you reach out if you have questions or just want to say hi!
Well that’s all Folks! Catch you next week for the first blog in the series
